The London Diamond Exchange (LDB) has launched its new educational programme, the Practical Knowledge of Diamonds course, which marks LDB’s first in-house training course.
The Practical Diamond training course was developed in collaboration with diamond expert Craig Seawright.
The course is designed for those who buy or sell diamonds and is designed to improve knowledge, confidence and sales techniques through practical interactive diamond exercises.
Stacey Aylott, Chief Operating Officer, said: “This is a new and exciting direction for LDB. We are glad that this project has come to an end. Planning and development took a significant amount of time, during which we invited people to LDB to participate in several trial days. Their feedback was essential and allowed us to make any changes to the course and bring it to a level where we can confidently release it to a wider audience.”
