So-Le Studio has announced a collaboration with Sotheby’s London that will see creative director Maria Sole Ferragamo as the first guest curator of their The Luxury Edit auction series.
A carefully curated collection of luxury items including jewellery, watches and liquor will be on display in a series of auctions in London, New York and Paris in September 2022 in London, New York and Paris.
Ferragamo said: “I am honored to be selected by Sotheby’s in this context, for the first time I will apply my creative eye and my values to become a curator, not a creator. My mission will be to recognize, recognize and enhance the beauty of these used objects, rather than create new ones from existing materials.
“I believe that the next generation has a huge role to play in making more informed decisions to save our planet, in terms of how they buy and surround themselves with items. I hope this project will shed light on the important role we all have to play in creating beautiful lives for future generations.”
